The following table is prepared to calculate the steam consumption of various processes and accordingly to help determine the boiler type, boiler operating pressure and boiler capacity. However, if the manufacturer of steam-using equipment has specified the amount of steam pressure and steam consumption for their equipment, these values should be used in the calculations.
In the following table, the steam consumption values shown in the "Closed Condensate System" column are the steam consumption values that occur when the ARALSAN CLOSED CONDENSATE SYSTEM is used. The "Open Condensate System" consumption values are the steam consumption values in systems where atmospheric open condensate tanks are still widely used. The difference between the two columns is flash steam loss, which you can not use by throwing it out of the boiler room.
